The assigning numbers when simple directions existed before and were PERFECTLY FINE (seriously, everyone who's played fighting games long enough knows that QCF means, we don't NEED numbers) seems like such an elitist douchebag thing to do. I wouldn't mind it so much if the primary means to play the game was the computer because it corresponds to the number pad but...
...it's not. Arcade and Playstation (insert version here) happens to be the main system so I don't see why Up, Down, Forward, Back shouldn't be standard, good god.
Speaking of tournyfags, I can't stand going to cons and seeing the one guy sit there for hours straight, never giving up the controller because he never loses. Good god, let people play against each other that are on a similar skill level.
